Upcoming Releases: 10.31.11 & 11.1.11

Is the world ending in a few days or something (Knock on wood)? I feel like I should be releasing a mixtape or something tomorrow just because it seems like the thing to do.  Monday and Tuesday will undeniably be a music blogger's simultaneous dream and nightmare, but I'm excited for everything coming out so that I can work on overcoming the candy relapse that seems imminent this Halloween.

Where do I begin? With Wale, Black Milk & Danny Brown, Rapper Big Pooh, Torae leading the iTunes Hip Hop takeover, there are also artists like 2 Chainz, Elite, Young Chris, A$AP Rocky, Fat Joe, Trey Songz providing free downloads.  Hit the jump to get a breakdown of all the projects dropping Monday (10.31.11) and Tuesday!

A$AP Rocky - Live.Love.A$AP

A$AP Rocky and the rest of his A$AP crew stormed out of Harlem and onto blog sites everywhere seemingly overnight.  His buzz right now is probably the biggest out of all of the new artists dropping projects this week, and Live.Love.A$AP will prove whether the hype is justified or blown way out of proportion.  Check out "Bass," his latest release below along with footage of his LLA listening party.  Let's see if this $3 million record deal with Polo Grounds/Sony was worth it!

Young Chris & Cardiak - The Revival

Young Chris has proved repeatedly that he hasn't lost one ounce of hustle since the rocky dissolution of Rocafella Records after consistently dropping mixtapes and features.  After dropping his last mixtape L.I.F.E. specifically for the ladies, Philly veteran Young Chris made sure to hit the streets hard with The Revival, a mixtape produced entirely by Cardiak.  Check out "D.O.A. (Dead On Arrival)" below and let me know if you plan to download The Revival!

Fat Joe - The Darkside, Vol. 2
After shedding 100 pounds and taking some time off, Fat Joe is back and ready to let everyone else in the game that he's not letting up.  After lackluster sales of his last album The Darkside, Vol. 1, Fat Joe's got a lot to prove with this mixtape.  With help from Jadakiss, French Montana, and more, do you think he'll be able to make his statement heard over the sea of verses dropping on Halloween?  Check out his latest cut "Dopeman" below and let me know!

Dopeman ft. Jadakiss & Dre

Freddie Gibbs - A Cold Day In Hell

After being recognized as one of XXL's Top 10 Freshmen of 2010, many feel like Freddie Gibbs didn't live up to the buzz that came with the honor that year.  In 2011, Freddie Gibbs burst back onto the scene with filterless interviews and a record deal with Jeezy's CTE label.  On Halloween, he'll face the ultimate test of perfecting his balance between his innate street mentality and creating mass appeal.  Listen to his latest track "Let Em Burn" below and come back tomorrow to download the full tape!

Jim Jones - Vampire Life

Harlem is prospering right now thanks to artists like Smoke DZA and A$AP Rocky, but Jim Jones hasn't hung it up yet.  Vampire Life is just a preview of what else he's got planned, and I'm hoping that a new Dipset compilation is in the works.  Check out his latest cut "Millionaire's Wife" and make sure you stop by for the download!

Millionaire's Wife ft. Sen City

L.E.P. Bogus Boys - Now Or Neva

Chicago duo Moonie and Count are sure to do their city proud when Now Or Neva drops Halloween with help from Meek Mill, Mobb Deep, and more. Watch their video for "Gangstaz Only," and make sure you download the project that's made especially for the streets.  It's free!!

Play-N-Skillz - Red October

Play-N-Skillz have been repping for Texas ever since they made their name as one of the state's best production teams behind hits like Chamillionaire "Ridin Dirty," Lil Wayne & T-Pain's "Got Money," and Hurricane Chris' "Halle Berry." The two aren't letting up lyrically either as they have fun on their new project Red October.  Check out the standout track "I'm Da Man," and come back to GUE to cop the full release!

Wale's been one of the most consistent leaders of the new school.  He released his first album Attention Deficit in 2009, but it's almost as if Ambition is his true debut provided that Wale's got a completely different fan base and a new home in Maybach Music Group.  Check out the album preview below and make sure you show props for all the free music he's released and purchase Ambition!
