This summer when all four brothers of Black Hippy will be touring together, they'll have another track to add to their set list. While Rocko's "U.O.E.N.O." has been redone about 5,842 times, Kendrick LamarScHoolboy QAb-Soul, and Jay Rock's version should be the remix to end all UOENO remixes.

Now... who's coming with me to The Tabernacle?

Black Hippy - Black Lip Bastard (Remix) [Music Video]

I'm glad I got some life about me and fired GUE back up tonight. First we get the Khaled, Nas & Scarface, and now Black Hippy dropped a video? Man, I love music.

Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q and Jay Rock have been making moves to take over the world individually, but they come together to shoot the video to Soul's "Black Lip Bastard" remix. Control System, in stores now!

Childish Gambino ft. Jay Rock - Sour Face

Childish Gambino's track "Sour Face" featuring Jay Rock didn't quite make the cut for Royalty, but it's definitely worth a listen. DG's worked with all of Black Hippy now, so is it safe to say he's honorary TDE?

Ab-Soul ft. Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock & ScHoolboy Q - Black Lip Bastard (Black Hippy Remix)

Ab-Soul's controlsystem is officially on iTunes now, and if you buy any album this year, you should definitely put down the $8.99 on this one. Before you go do that, check out the Black Hippy remix of "Black Lip Bastard," which brings all four brothers of TDE together. Can we get that Black Hippy album though?

Jay Rock - Checkmate (Prod. By The Futuristiks)

Jay Rock puts you on game on his new single "Checkmate." The Black Hippy provides advice worth writing down on this new track produced by The Futuristiks including "If you got some loose ends in your circle then cut 'em off." Claps to that.

2011 BET Hip Hop Awards Cyphers Pt. 1 & 2

The 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards were recorded last night in Atlanta and will air on October 11, with T.I. and Young Jeezy opening up the show.  My favorite part of the awards are the cyphers, where some familar and unfamiliar rappers get to freestyle and show off and finally get some play on BET.

Watch below for the first cypher which showcases Sprite Hot 16 winner Chris Sutton from Durham, NC, XV, Jay Rock & Gilbere Forte.  Let me know what your favorite lines are in the comments, and hit the jump for Cypher 2 and a full list of the upcoming cyphers!

New Music Video: Jay Rock - M.O.N.E.Y. ft. J. Black

Top Dawg Entertainment keeps the wheels going as Black Hippy member Jay Rock drops visuals for one of the best tracks on his album Follow Me Home (in my opinion).  "M.O.N.E.Y." features Cali singer J. Black and is produced by the talented Terrace Martin.  Watch below as the lust for money unfortunately gets the best of young men in the streets of Cali.

Gangstas Use Emoticons Radio: Volume 6

DJ Bankhead has officially retired. It was fun while it lasted, but I'm serious this time.

The official, REAL DEAL stage name is............ DJ Hourglass!
(If you wanna know why, ask somebody)

I've been doing tribute editions for the past 2 weeks and it's time to get back to that new s**t!  This mix is probably the most well rounded--ranging from mainstream to underground, club bangers to love songs.  Volume 6 features new music from artists including the Billboard toppers of The Throne, Big K.R.I.T., Meek Mill, and Wale.

Also in the mix are two rappers from the 2 cities nearest to my heart--Charlotte and St. Louis.  QC representer  C-Weav is the founder of record label So Key Entertainment whose mixtape Mixed Feelings is a must download.  Bryant Stewart, the hardest working rapper in St. Louis, just released "I Made This Last Week," a project which he made...in one week.  Doesn't sound like it.

Listen to DJ Hourglass's GUE Radio, Vol. 6 below!
Make sure you hit the jump for the full tracklisting!!

New Music: Jay Rock x Kendrick Lamar x Yo Gotti x Waka Flocka

I'm slappin' snapbacks off again!!

I saw this link on a RT by BJ The Chicago Kid, and I'm glad.  I wish I had this song on my iPod for my road trip but I'm still gonna be playing this one in the Civic.  I like hearing artists like Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock work with artists like Yo Gotti and Waka Flocka--it unifies rap for me when it's done right.

I'm definitely gonna be doing my St. Louis club 2 step to this for weeks to come.  Listen/DL below.

Jay Rock: They Be On It (Remix) f/ Kendrick Lamar, Yo Gotti & Waka Flocka Flame.

Buy Jay Rock's Follow Me Home on iTunes here and check out GUE Radio Vol. 3 while you're at it.
