New Music: Kid Cudi - To Da Top

"To Da Top" is an unreleased track from Kid Cudi that surfaced today.  From the sounds of it, it's probably a few years old with a younger sounding Cudi and a more simple song structure than his latest music.  Check it out below, and let me know if you prefer Kid Cudi of the past better than the Scott Mescudi we know today!

Kid Cudi - Maniac [Short Film Directed By Shia LeBeouf]

Kid Cudi's had us waiting a long time to view the Shia LeBouf directed short film, Maniac, in which "a film crew follows two serial killers documenting their exploits."  Just like Childish Gambino's "Bonfire" video, these visuals are very graphic and are perfect for Halloween.  Watch below, and let me know how you feel about the Cudi - LeBeouf pairing by commenting or hitting me up on Facebook or Twitter!

New Music: Wale ft. Kid Cudi - Focused

Yesterday, we were teased with a measly snippet of Wale's collaboration with friend turned enemy turned friend again, Kid Cudi. Now, we've got the full version that will be on Ambition, which drops on November 1.

Here's what Wale had to say about the song:

It’s a testament to where I am lyrically, spiritually, all of that, because this song almost never happened. It feels like the record that ‘Is There Any Love’ was supposed to be. When they kept talking about me and Cudi in every magazine, this is the record I felt like they needed to hear — the one that everybody was going to get behind, and it was going to go top 40 and not be corny. This is like the best top 40 non-cheesy record that you’re ever going to hear in your life. That’s how I feel about it.

The Knux - Run f/ Kid Cudi [Music Video]

Double dose of music video appearances today for Kid Cudi, but the real story's about The Knux.  The New Orleans Hip Hop duo is gearing up to release their sophomore LP The Eraser on September 27th.  I really like the video as it captures all of the elements of the song.

Kid Cudi Is "Mr. Rager" in New Video

Brand new music visual/short film from Kid Cudi.  Watch below as Kid Cudi tries to go Bruce Leroy on that ass while "Mr. Rager" plays in the background.  It appears that it's "Scott Mescudi vs. The World," but keep watching for a surprise ending.
