My boss man, Andreas Hale of TheWellVersed, and 2Dopeboyz continue to reveal their interview with Jamla head honcho 9th Wonder. Watch below as he explains how he came across Rapsody, his status as an OG, and how he ended up teaching at Duke.

J.A.E - Gone [Music Video]

NC may be in J.A.E's heart, but Flatbush, Brooklyn is the rapper's second home. Watch him and the rest of the YachTs crew light up, play dice, and eat chicken (with Mary J. Blige?) in the visuals to "Gone," the lead single to J.A.E's forthcoming project Fruition.

J.A.E - The World Is Yours (Freestyle)

When I saw the title I was immediately intrigued. It takes a lot of balls to go over a classic track, let alone classic Nas. As soon as I pressed play, J.A.E addressed his decision nonchalantly with "Ni**as act like they scared to go over classic sh*t," and proceeded to kill it. Check out his "The World Is Yours" freestyle below, and get ready for more new music from the YachTs crew emcee.

King Mez ft. Drey Skonie - The Allure [Prod. by J. Cole]

King Mez introduces to his upcoming album My Everlasting Zeal on "The Allure," produced by J. Cole. The Raleigh, NC bred emcee spits about his desire to make it in the game despite the many other rappers with less talent going after the same dream. Mez's May 15th release will consist of self produced tracks, as well as production from Soundtrakk (of Food & Liquor fame), Omen, Prolyfic, and more.

Lo Keys - Nameless

Lo Keys provides us with another track from his forthcoming project American Greed: Scams Schemes And Broken Dreams. The jazzy "Nameless" gets right to the point with no need for a hook or guest verse.

Lo Keys - Hell Yeah! [Prod. by Trent Timeless]

Lo Keys is busy doing what he does best-- "Killin mics and rippin' shows."-- so there's no time for the NC emcee to focus on anything but his steady rise to the top. Listen to "Hell Yeah," the latest single from Lamborghini's American Greed: Scams Schemes And Broken Dreams below!

J.A.E - Third Lap [Music Video]

J.A.E continues to run circles around the competition as he reveals the Third Lap in his Running Laps series. The NC to NY emcee lives life in reverse as he provides quote-worthy lyrics to the Uncle Dave production. J.A.E has Gentlemans Quarterly, Jake Davis & Mark McNairy to thank for serving as inspiration behind the creative visuals, which follow him living life in reverse.

J. Cole ft. Missy Elliot - Nobody's Perfect [Music Video]

J. Cole's video just premiered on BET's 106 & Park, and I'm so glad that "Nobody's Perfect" got the visual treatment. Missy's a part of the song so of course you can't be rap alongside the queen of music videos without having some crazy effects. Cole World: The Sideline Story is out now!

Rain - Live Fast, Die Young [Music Video]

Rain's The Magic Hour 3 (My Separate Reality) drops later on today, but he dropped off the visuals to "Live Fast, Die Young" to let you know that he means business. Looks like MH3 is really going to be a problem when it drops at 3 PM!

J.A.E - Second Lap [Music Video]

J.A.E makes me like him more with each track he drops because finds some stash his secret weapons and release them at the perfect moment. He gets major points from me here as he rhymes over one of my favorite Phantogram tracks, "When I'm Small" for the "Second Lap" of his Running Laps series.

Catch up with J.A.E and watch him action on the "First Lap" HERE.

BanksOnTheBeat ft. J.A.E - For The Thrill

BanksOnTheBeat turns his new single "For The Thrill" into YachTs affair as he calls up the homie J.A.E to add some more heat to his production. BanksOnTheBeat has been doing his thing with the mic and behind the boards, so his new mixtape, No Boundaries, should be a nice addition to the music collection. No Boundaries drops next week on March 5th!

C-Weav - Keys 2 The City [New Mixtape]

I first introduced you C-Weav on GUE Radio, Vol. 6 last summer, but now I'm proud share his brand new mixtape, Keys 2 The City, to all my gangstas out here. The Oakland born, NC bred rapper has been working diligently to turn his new home of Charlotte into his stomping grounds while still making his hometown of New Bern proud, and now he's ready for the entire country to get #Key and hear what he has to say.

I was one of the lucky few invited to listen to Keys 2 The City a few weeks ago, and I'm not exaggerating at all when I say that C-Weav's new project is one of the best projects of the year thus far.  Songs like "Apollo 13," "Running The South" and "Follow My Lead" affirm the hunger that C has to make it to the top while "Tonight" and "Chillin Wit Da Girls" are original yet commercially appealing tracks that are perfect for radio and club play. On other tracks, C-Weav gets personal as well,  not shying away from his past and publicly revealing the vulnerability and insecurities that he faces on an occasional basis.

Without further ado, check out C-Weav's Keys 2 The City below, which features production from the homie BanksOnTheBeat, another G.U.E. hometown hero.
