Ray J completely dominated Twitter on Friday when he revealed the cover for his new single "I Hit It First," donning a pixelated image of his ex Kim Kardashian. Messy!

While the single artwork is foolish enough, the accompanying track is ten times worse. Despite the fact that the beat sounds like a 2002 album bonus track from 3LW, the real focal point lies in the single's lyrics.

Gems like the hook's opening line "She might move on the rappers and ballplayers..,"the bridge's "If you were to come back to me we'll make another movie," and the repetitive crooning of "I put her on" in R. Kelly "Feelin' On Yo Booty" fashion to close out the record, are what makes life worth fighting another day.

Every blue moon, I get an e-mail in my inbox that I call hidden treasure. Amidst the many struggle submissions, I was sent Jarell Perry's Simple Things EP which I haven't been able to stop listening to since I hit play.

You may remember the California singer-songwriter from his collaboration with Thurz on "Keep Livin" or recognize him from his extremely popular YouTube covers.  If not, you're bound to know the name Jarell Perry soon, and you should start with the EP which features the standouts "Awkward" and "Whiskey A Go Go." [Video] Kendrick Lamar Hears Jay-Z's Verse On "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" For The First Time

Even a lyricist as amazing as Kendrick Lamar knows how humbling a guest verse from Jay-Z is. So when his TDE boss Top Dawg surprised him with Hov's verse for the "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe" remix at the end of February during a ScHoolboy Q session for Oxymoron, seeing him light up is priceless.

[Music Video] Robin Thicke ft. T.I. & Pharrell - "Blurred Lines"

It looks like Justin and Timbaland aren't the only other R&B duo back in the lab! Fresh off of his album  Love After War, Robin Thicke debuted his new single "Blurred Lines" by skipping straight to the video. Check out the lighthearted track featuring T.I. and Pharrell below...

SMKA's mega experimental collaboration project The Hang Out has already provided us with some great music, but it seems that with each leak the offerings get better and better.

On "Good Life," Atlanta's own Playboy Tre and Spree Wilson take on a Kato production alongside vocalist Marian Mereba as they provide commentary for those trying to elevate when it seems all life does is try to hold you down.

[Music Video] Tez McClain - "Flick'n"

Atlanta rapper and G.U.E. favorite Tez McClain is back and it looks like the stage is set for him to be the next to blow from the city as his single "Flick'n" is building momentum.

[Music Video] Wale ft. Tiara Thomas - "Bad"

While I'm still very partial to Tiara Thomas' original version of "Bad," I've decided to just get used to the fact that Wale taking over the track gives it way more mainstream appeal.

After letting the track dominate the airwaves for the past month, Wale pushes the single as he drops the visuals to the record, which stars Bria Murphy, the beautiful daughter of the famous Eddie and Nicole, as the "Bad" girl.


Wale's third studio album The Gifted is slated to hit stores on June 25th.
