I was really feeling Shome earlier this year when he dropped "Bourbon & Canal," and to hold us over until his College Years compilation tape hits the net on May 29th, enjoy "Enter Loot."

In the intermission of his College Years compilation tape, Shome describes the title of "Enter Loot" as a double meaning. Loot is described as goods, however, it is also the action of stealing or taking away. The pros and cons of this title helps illustrate this certain track, allowing the listener to "decipher the cypher."

Leave it to Kanye to find an inventive way to premiere a new single. With his appearance on SNL only hours away, I was sure the track would pop up some time today. Never did I think it'd be done like this.

Instead of passing his single along to Flex, or mysteriously tweeting the record, Kanye had a performance of "New Slaves" projected along 66 buildings across the world.

As a huge Kendrick fan, I can't help but compare the subject matter to both parts 1 and 2 of "Vanity Slave," but I'm glad to see Kanye returning to his College Dropout roots.

As someone who was a fan of Kendrick's previous works, I could tell the second it started that this project would change everything. If past experiences teach me anything, it's that Chance The Rapper is set for the same fate.

GUE's favorite Baltimore emcee Rickie Jacobs has been relentless lately, as he drops his second The Jake produced loosie of the week. Premiered by Sermon's Domain, the homie Sermon described the dual track perfectly:

"In Star Wars Episode II-III, Anakin Skywalker was at a constant battle with himself before ultimately turning to the dark side. If that could translate to rap, Rickie Jacobs’ “The Devil Wears Prada/God Wears Gucci” would be his episode II. This two sided record finds him struggling with his career (in a story fashion, not necessarily meant to take away as personal in his life) and his surrounding. The force is strong within this one."

It looks like the momentum is finally back in Ciara's favor as she shut TVs and the net down yesterday with the 106 & Park premiere of her new single "Body Party." In the Mr. X shot video, Ci takes us to a classic house party filled with cameos from some of the A's hottest (Ludacris, Trinidad Jame$, Mike WiLL, and Jazze Pha just to name a few) as she and her real-life beau see into the future of their relationship.

Of course the dance scenes are amazing, and the chemistry between Ciara and Future is clearly not being faked in this video. The lucky track from Religion to get the visual treatment this time around is one of the record's sexier cuts "Could Be." While the song itself is extremely moving, the video only amplifies the essence of the song which dwells upon the possibilities of a new relationship.

[Video] Miguel Performs "Adorn" & "How Many Drinks" Live On Saturday Night Live

Miguel's album Kaleidoscope Dream may have been "overshadowed" by Frank Ocean, but it looks like he's doing more than alright as he hit Saturday Night Live last weekend to perform his hits "Adorn" and "How Many Drinks."

KiD CuDi caused a lot of commotion when he announced his amicable departure from G.O.O.D. Music, but the focus now rests on his album Indicud which is set to hit stores on April 23. One of the most anticipated tracks on the project was the Kendrick Lamar featured "Solo Dolo Pt. 2," which we are now privileged to hear since the album leaked to the masses. Don't worry though.
