Joell Ortiz & B.o.B (And Now Fred The Godson): The First To Respond To Kendrick Lamar's Game Shaking "Control" Verse

Unless you've been on a social media or Internet fast, you've been unable to escape the Hip Hop world's reaction to Kendrick Lamar's verse on the Big Sean record "Control."

If you need a reminder, peep a selection of the lyrics courtesy of Rap Genius:
I'm Makaveli's offspring, I'm the king of New York
King of the Coast, one hand, I juggle them both

I heard the barbershops spittin' great debates all the time
Bout who's the best MC? Kendrick, Jigga and Nas
Eminem, Andre 3000, the rest of y'all
New niggas just new niggas, don't get involved

I'm usually homeboys with the same niggas I'm rhymin' wit
But this is hip hop and them niggas should know what time it is
And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale
Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake
Big Sean, Jay Electron', Tyler, Mac Miller
I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you niggas
Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas
They dont wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you niggas
What is competition?
While many rappers have taken to Twitter to make a few comments on Kendrick's bold claim of the throne, Joell Ortiz was the first to take his response to the booth. Listen below as Joell helps bring back the sport of battle rap to the forefront, and hit the jump for B.o.B's response to "Control."

Slaughterhouse - On The House [New Mixtape]

Slaughterhouse stopped the internet when they released their "Truth Or Truth" freestyle, and the four quarters of the Slaughter have more quotables on their highly anticipated Gangsta Grillz tape On The House. Their album welcome to: OUR HOUSE is set to hit stores next week on August 28th.

Slaughterhouse - Truth Or Truth or (15 Min. Freestyle)

After hearing the snippets from welcome to: OUR HOUSE, I'm skeptical about how much I'd enjoy it when it comes out on August 28th. The mixtape On The House, however... I think I'm gonna like this.

Slaughterhouse vents for nearly 15 minutes over Rick Ross' "Tears of Joy" as Royce, Joe Budden, Crooked I, and Joell get REAL personal on a freestyle they call "Truth Or Truth."

Who do you think killed it? My choice is either Crooked I or Joell.

Slaughterhouse - Weight Scale

Before Slaughterhouse releases welcome to: OUR HOUSE on August 28, they're dropping a Gangsta Grillz mixtape with DJ Drama, which includes their "Nasty" freestyle "Weight Scale." As usual, Crooked I, Royce Da 5'9'', Joell Ortiz and Joe Budden leave the beat for dead.

Joell Ortiz has already been busy on the blogs today thanks to the release of the "Hammer Dance" video, but he's dropping a solo gem of his own as he adds some "Yaowa" to Jeezy's "I Do." It gets a little graphic though...

Joell Ortiz Covers Michael McDonald's "I Keep Forgetting" [VIDEO]

On the last clip from Slaughterhouse, we saw Crooked I randomly bust out in song, and last night Joell Ortiz took things a step further. Since Ashley Outrageous captured the moment, I'll let her explain:
Smack in the middle of Slaughterhouse's high-energy performance in Ft. Lauderdale at Revolution Live, Royce Da 5'9" asked Joell Ortiz to perform his rendition of Michael McDonald's "I Keep Forgetting" for the crowd to see. This, sh*t, was, hilarious! He didn't go out alone either, Joe Budden was kind enough to back him up with old school dance moves, ha!
