[Music Video] Jhené Aiko - "The Worst"

I spent my entire shift at the good ol' 9 to 5 playing Jhené Aiko's new EP Sail Out, and I'm happy to see that it's doing extremely well on iTunes. Sail Out is currently in the top 3 albums overall and is currently king of the R&B charts.

To make things even better, Jhené offered up dramatic visuals to "The Worst," one of Sail Out's darker compositions. Perhaps we'll see her on season 2 of Orange Is The New Black? (Probably not, but definitely catch her alongside Drake, Miguel and Future on the remaining stops of Would You Like A Tour?)

Purchase Sail Out on iTunes HERE! It's also available for stream on Spotify.

Props to Noisey for the premiere, and head there to catch an exclusive interview with Ms. Aiko!

Jhené Aiko ft. Childish Gambino - "Bed Peace"

While we wait for Jhené Aiko's debut album Souled Out to hit stores next year, we will be treated with Sail Out on October 29 November 11, a project that "bridges the gap" between the album and her acclaimed mixtape Sailing Soul(s).

Check out the chilled out first single, "Bed Peace" featuring Childish Gambino, below, and hit the jump to learn more about the Sail Out EP!

Jhené Aiko - "Comfort Inn Ending" (Prod. by No. I.D.)

For all my fellow Jhené Aiko fans dying to hear what her Artium/Def Jam debut Soul(ed) Out will offer, the beautiful songwriter gives us a bone with the 2 minute freestyle "Comfort Inn Ending."

Produced by her boss No I.D., Jhene vents about a recent relationship that went sour due to infidelity. I'm not one to speculate, but "CIE" may be about Compton rapper and Sailing Soul(s) collaborator H.O.P.E. Wright, who she publicly dated for a few years.

Although heartache may cause a few tears, thankfully, it can also create some great music. Thanks for sharing Ms. Aiko.

[Music Video] Elijah Blake ft. Common - "X.O.X."

Elijah Blake closed out 2012 with a spectacular EP in Bijoux 22. While I'm fondest of standouts like "Talk To Me" and "Vicky Secrets," I can understand why the Common featured "X.O.X." is turning into an international sensation. Check out the visuals to the No I.D. production below, and try to refrain from hitting your ex with sappy texts... Keep it G!

[Music Video] Jhené Aiko - "Burning Man (3:16 PM)"

After taking us through the dark recesses of her mind on "3:16am," Jhené Aiko uses the sunshine of 3:16pm to bring us the lighter track "Burning Man."

Check out the visuals to the Artium songstress' new single below, and catch cameos from her Cocaine 80s collaborator James Fauntleroy and her daughter's uncle, Omarion. Jhené's major label debut Soul(ed) Out is in the works!

Cocaine 80's - The Flower Of Life [FreEP]

I was up at 5:41 celebrating Delta's Centeniall (OO-OOP) and to make things better, I see a tweet from James Fauntleroy with the zip for Cocaine 80's The Flower Of Life. What more can you ask for on 1.13.13?

Download the project below which features "Fly Ass Pisces" and six other tracks by No I.D., Fauntleroy, Jhene Aiko, Common and more.

Cocaine 80's ft. Jhene Aiko & Common - "Fly Ass Pisces"

Cocaine 80s is always lowkey with their releases, so I'm excited I caught this track on Twitter. Now that Jhené Aiko is down with the Artium clique, she, No I.D., James Fauntleroy and co. have been making beautiful music together. Add extended family Common to the equation and you get  "Fly Ass Pisces." Keep this one on repeat until Cocaine 80s drops its fourth project, Flower Of Life EP.

Jhené Aiko ft. James Fauntleroy - "Wrap Me Up" (Prod. by Tae Beast)

There are few Christmas records that are smooth enough to play all year round, and Jhené Aiko and James Fauntleroy's duet "Wrap Me Up" may be one of them. Spend this Christmas Eve with someone special and curl up to this Artium yuletide carol.

Elijah Blake - Bijoux 22 [FreEP]

If you're not familiar with Elijah Blake as the songwriter behind Keyshia Cole's "Enough Of No Love," Usher's "Climax," and more, don't worry. You'll get familiar soon.

The Roc Nation signed songwriter also has a promising career as an artist, being featured on "Presidential," one of the standouts from Rick Ross' God Forgives, I Don't. Get more of a feel for who Mr. Blake is on a more personal level as he presents his new EP Bijoux 22, which further shows how deep of a roster No I.D.'s Artium/Def Jam collective is.

[Music Video] Jhené Aiko - "Mirrors"

Hopefully you were fortunate enough as me to catch Jhené Aiko's opening set on Nas & Lauryn Hill's Life Is Good/Black Rage tour. She was incredible.

The Artium/Def Jam songstress continues to show off her darker side with "Mirrors," the follow up to Souled Out's lead single "3:16 AM."
