Consequence ft. Pooch Hall - Something Light

Don't act like you saw this one coming. Consequence and The Game's Pooch Hall hit the studio and when they came out, "Something Light" was complete. The only time I've heard Pooch rap was in a BET promo for The Game as a joke. Yeah, this about up to par with that.

Stop The Madness: Brian McKnight - iFUrReadyToLearn (C.A.T.S.) [Music Video]

If this isn't pure foolishness and f*ckery I don't know what is!!!

Last week, Brian McKnight shocked and confused everyone with his new video (after the jump) previewing his new ballad in which he intends to "show you how your pu$$y works." This led to the side eye felt around the world and endless jokes on his behalf.

A week later and Brian McKnight is milking this for everything that its worth. "iFUrReadyToLearn (C.A.T.S.)" is now on iTunes and NOW, AND NOW, he's made a music video for the thing. Not enough words to describe the ignorance and hilarity of this.

BAHAHA: Wayne Brady - 5 Fingers Of Death Freestyle [VIDEO]

The music world has been all over the place this week.  Brian McKnight's singing about "show[ing] you how your p**sy works," T.I. and Azealia Banks went at it on the Twitter/radio, bloggers are getting clowned for pauseworthy tweets, and now...... Wayne Brady's freestyling.

The sad thing is that he's easing through the 5 Fingers of Death freestyle better than the other rappers who've faced the wrath of DJ Wonder.

Joell Ortiz Covers Michael McDonald's "I Keep Forgetting" [VIDEO]

On the last clip from Slaughterhouse, we saw Crooked I randomly bust out in song, and last night Joell Ortiz took things a step further. Since Ashley Outrageous captured the moment, I'll let her explain:
Smack in the middle of Slaughterhouse's high-energy performance in Ft. Lauderdale at Revolution Live, Royce Da 5'9" asked Joell Ortiz to perform his rendition of Michael McDonald's "I Keep Forgetting" for the crowd to see. This, sh*t, was, hilarious! He didn't go out alone either, Joe Budden was kind enough to back him up with old school dance moves, ha!

Bahaha: Jimmy Fallon & Bruce Springsteen Cover LMFAO's "Sexy And I Know It"

Last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy, dressed up as Neil Young, performed an acoustic version of LMFAO's "Sexy And I Know It" with music legend Bruce Springsteen. Nothing like singing (or Rap Genius) to really grasp how silly some rap lyrics are.

Bahaha: Jimmy Kimmel Interviews A Fake Lil Wayne [VIDEO]

When Jimmy Kimmel found out that Lil Wayne cancelled on him, he chose to go on with the interview and picked a random audience member to come out and play Weezy. All I have to say is kudos to Carl for even doing this. "I don't lift weights. I skateboard."

WTF?? MTV Reveals Their List of 2011's 25 Hottest MCs

Uh oh. MTV done f**ked up now.

2011 was a great year for Hip Hop in my opinion as a lot of newer artists finally got the recognition from fans and peers that I feel they truly deserved.  Case in point: J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Mac Miller. 2 out of the 3 had #1 albums on the Billboard charts, one is nominated for Best New Artist,  was crowned the new King of the West by legendary West Coast emcees, and the other broke an independent sales record.

The problem: None of them are on MTV's list of the 25 Hottest MC's of the year.

o_O

Instead, artists like Maino, Red Cafe, Jim Jones, and Nas (who put out ONE song of his own in 2011) made the list. I'm puzzled. Anyways, check out the promo for the Hottest MCs In The Game miniseries, and hit the jump for the full list of nominees.
