New Music Video: ZAKEE - Dope Girl

Philly bred musician ZAKEE has toured and worked with some of the greats--M.I.A., The Roots, Erykah Badu...-- and now the Howard University grad is proving himself as an individual artist with the recent release of his debut album Assimilations.


The idea behind standout single "Dope Girl" was to pay tribute to artists like Janis Joplin and Bob Dylan who have inspired ZAKEE while simultaneously relating to the fact that "every guy just wants something dope he can call his own." Trey Songz Reveals Album Artwork For The "Invevitable" EP

Trey Songz is on a roll right now after simultaneously releasing TWO mixtapes and preparing for his fifth album aptly titled Chapter 5.  Before the album, however, Trey will be releasing Inevitable, an EP that will include tracks like "Top of The World" and the Fabolous featured "What I Be On." The EP is set for a November 28th release, but you can preorder it now!

New Music: SL Jones - Hustlin ft. Pill & Killer Mike

Little Rock, Arkansas representer SL Jones has been putting in major work this year, including dropping two mixtapes and an EP within 5 months with another project on the way.  Until his next mixtape Flight Risk drops at the end of this year, he's dropping off a few tracks to make sure we keep him fresh in our minds.

"Hustlin" is a perfect merger between the Grind Time Official affiliate and ATL rappers Killer Mike & Pill.  Check out the Smiff & Cash produced track below, which samples Malice of the Clipse, and let me know if you're excited about Flight Risk now!
