[Music Video] ForteBowie - "Gucci Mayne"

A few weeks before ForteBowie's Vice Haus EP dropped and "Gucci Mayne" debuted (sans the "y"), I had an inkling that the single would be a breakthrough moment for the Atlanta musician.  It's only a matter of time at this point as he plans to release Vice Haus: Deluxe Edition.

Peep the video for "Gucci Mayne" below, which serves as an authentic yet intricate introduction to the ATLien known as ForteBowie.

Premiered by Complex.

[Music Video] Chilly Chills - "Patience"

I met Atlanta rapper and spoken word artist Chilly Chills last summer at a Poor Little Rich Girl music showcase when I DJ'ed a few of his performances, and I've been a fan ever since. With the help of director K.D. Gray, Chilly presents the visuals to his Maez produced single, "Patience."

Goodie Mob ft. Janelle Monae - "Special Education"

After premiering "Fight To Win" last year, Goodie Mob relaunches their album Age Against The Machine with their new single "Special Education." Hearing Cee-Lo, T-Mo, Khujo Goodie & Big Gipp all rhyming together takes me back, and I'm excited to cop the album when hits stores on June 18th.

Also lending her vocals to "Special Education" is Dungeon extended family and "Q.U.E.E.N." Janelle Monae.

Sean Falyon - "Stay Up" (Prod. by M $tacks)

"So dedicated to crossing the finish line that I feel like I'm only seconds from..."
Sean Falyon links up once again with producer M $tacks as he gives us "Stay Up," an intimate listen  to his introspective journey to the top. December is on iTunes now!

[New Mixtape] Hustle Gang - "G.D.O.D."

Hip Hop strayed away from crews for a while, but the past few years have proved that the art isn't completely centered around a dog eat dog mentality. With G.O.O.D. Music, YMCMB, TDE, MMG, A$AP and the many other teams out there, T.I. is here to prove that he might be stacked with the strongest group of them all.

With a roster boasting B.o.B, Trae Tha Truth, Young Dro, Def Jam's Iggy Azalea, London emcee Chip, G.O.O.D. Music hybrid Travi$ Scott, singer Kris Stephens, and more, Hustle Gang is certainly a force to be reckoned with. Stream and download their latest offering G.D.O.D. (Get Dough Or Die) below, and don't say I didn't list this one of the best tapes of the year once December rolls around!

[New Mixtape] Scotty x DJ Burn One - 'F.A.I.T.H.'

"You don't use our music to get high. They use our music to get by..."

A powerful statement like that puts a lot of responsibility on Atlanta emcee Scotty, but he delivers 100% on his new mixtape F.A.I.T.H. (Foreva Atlanta In The Heart) with DJ Burn One. Surely the next to blow out of the A, Scotty gets support from Big K.R.I.T., Trinidad Jame$, Le$, Killa Kyleon, Miloh Smith, Ebony Love, and more.

Stream + download F.A.I.T.H. below, and get used to seeing Scotty's name a lot more on GsUseEmoticons.

[Music Video] Janelle Monae ft. Erykah Badu - "Q.U.E.E.N."

Janelle Monae took to BET's 106th & Park yesterday to premiere the video for "Q.U.E.E.N." and to be honest, no other word than "electric" comes to mind when describing it. Directed by Solange's beau Alan Ferguson, Janelle and Erykah Badu Badoula Oblongata are historic icons preserved in a museum who are brought back to life by young rebels.

Hit play and enjoy the sights, and check out Janelle after the jump as she turns up the energy at 106 to another level. The release date for Janelle's sophomore album The Electric Lady isn't out yet, but "Q.U.E.E.N." is available on iTunes now!

[Lyric Video] B.o.B ft. 2 Chainz - "Headband" (NSFW)

B.o.B may have taken lyric videos to a whole 'nother level today. To premiere his new DJ Mustard produced single "Headband" featuring fellow ATLien 2 Chainz in full, Bobby Ray provides a challenge of sorts. Focus on the lyrics or focus on the jiggle. Which one will you choose?

B.o.B.'s currently untitled third LP is slated to drop later this year.

[Music Video] Ciara - "Body Party" (Starring Future)

It looks like the momentum is finally back in Ciara's favor as she shut TVs and the net down yesterday with the 106 & Park premiere of her new single "Body Party." In the Mr. X shot video, Ci takes us to a classic house party filled with cameos from some of the A's hottest (Ludacris, Trinidad Jame$, Mike WiLL, and Jazze Pha just to name a few) as she and her real-life beau see into the future of their relationship.

Of course the dance scenes are amazing, and the chemistry between Ciara and Future is clearly not being faked in this video. Watch the visuals to "Body Party" below, and hit the jump to catch Ciara's awkward moment on 106 & Park as her ex Bow Wow interviewed her while Future looked on from the crowd.

[New Mixtape] DJ Princess Cut - Early Morning Tap, Vol. 3

Instead of going the typical route of making a bedroom mix with infinite R. Kelly and Trey Songz tracks, DJ Princess Cut  switched up the formula. Take a listen to Early Morning Tap, Vol. 3 below, which features indie records from MGMT, Lykke Li, The XX, Toro Y Moi, Solange, and more.

[Music Video] Tez McClain - "Art vs Hustle"

"Art vs Hustle" is one of my favorites from Tez McClain's latest mixtape Scoundrel, and I'm glad to see that Raw Work Films gave it the visual treatment.

Watch below as the Atlanta emcee gets deep into the dynamics and politics of the game to show how you sometimes have to compromise your art to hustle and get it out to the masses. Tough.

Rittz ft. Mike Posner - "Switch Lanes"

Atlanta emcee Rittz has had the local and indie scene's respect for quite some time now, but after hearing his latest single "Switch Lanes" featuring Mike Posner, I know his name will be common knowledge pretty soon.

Stream "Switch Lanes" below, and click HERE to preorder Rittz's upcoming album The Life and Times of Jonny Valiant, set to hit stores on April 30 via Tech N9ne's Strange Music.

Jarren Benton - "Razor Blades And Steak Knives"

Dopest album cover of the year so far? I'd say so.
If you've heard Freebasing With Kevin Bacon and Huffing Glue With Hasselhoff, you know that Funk Volume emcee Jarren Benton is known for pushing the lyrical envelope. Thankfully, he's been compiling some more off the wall bars for his upcoming album My Grandma's Basement, set to drop this June.

Stream the project's lead single "Razor Blades and Steak Knives" below, and support the Atlanta rapper's movement by downloading the track from iTunes.

[Music Video] Two9 - "Where The Money At?"

Easily the best new track from Mike WiLL Made It's Est. In 1989 (Part 2.5) mixtape, Atlanta collective Two-9 drop the visuals to "Where The Money At?," a track that's bound to have you destroying your cubicle and putting in your 2 weeks notice.

As an intro to the actual record, Two9's Curtis Williams speaks on the group's comparisons to Wu Tang and elaborates more on what the collective's movement is all about.

[EP Stream] Sean Falyon - 'December'

While we're on the topic of New Atlanta today, I can't leave out hustler extraordinaire Sean Falyon. The Philly bred emcee just released his 8 track EP December, which features Miloh Smith, Indiana Rome, Brandon Rossi, Jack Freeman, and even an appearance from his Mom who tells the bearded emcee to get his act together.

Stream the entire project exclusively at, and click HERE to show Sean Falyon some love by copping December on iTunes.

Scotty ft. Trinidad Jame$ - "Conversations On That Brown"

Scotty's been a force in Atlanta for quite some time, but thanks to an impressive showing at SXSW's #NewAtlanta showcase and a headlining tour, the rapper is bound to take on bigger and better things in 2013.

Debuting the artwork for his upcoming project F.A.I.T.H. (Foreva Atlanta In The Heart) with DJ Burn One, he also drops the project's first reveal, "Conversations On That Brown" with fellow New Atlanta representative Trinidad Jame$.

Stream the track below, and be sure to watch what you say on that brown (or clear) this weekend!

Young Jeezy - "R.I.P." (Remix) ft. YG, Kendrick Lamar & Chris Brown

It's safe to say that Young Jeezy's "R.I.P." brings life to the club, and it looks like the single isn't going anywhere as he recruited West Coast heavyweights Kendrick Lamar and YG to appear alongside him on the remix.

I'm not shocked that K. Dot spits the best verse on the remix, but I am surprised that I'm giving #2 to Chris Brown, who comes for Drake on his sixteen saying: "And if you started from the bottom gon' and come out the closet." Let the subliminal shots continue!

[Lyric Video] B.o.B - "Greedy Love"

B.o.B's mixtape F*ck Em We Ball has few gems that will most likely make his forthcoming third album, which Bobby Ray needs YOUR help naming.

One of those crossover tracks is the Sonny Digital produced "Greedy Love," which B.o.B has announced as the album's first single. Watch the Nightmare Before Christmas-esque lyric video below, and hit the jump for a late pass download of F*ck Em We Ball!

[New Mixtape] STS - 'Gold Rush III'

After showcasing life on his European tour with the visuals to his latest Gold Rush flips, STS presents the third volume of the mixtape series the ATL emcee has now perfected.

With the help of DJ Bear One, Slim takes on tracks from Purity Ring, Kavinsky, Walk The Duck and Gary Clark Jr, and more as he proves his lyrics can be felt over any style of music. Who needs boundaries? Fuck 'em!

[Music Video] Young Jeezy ft. 2 Chainz - "R.I.P."

Young Jeezy and 2 Chainz shockingly head to the club to shoot the visuals to "R.I.P." which feature cameos from Snoop dogg, Ludacris, Nelly, Trey Songz, Big Sean, T.I., E-40, YG, Warren G, Ne-Yo, Nipsey Hussle and more.

If you haven't shouted out this hook on a Friday night, whether at the club or not, it's time to start living life.
