LRG Presents 9th Wonder's "The Wonder Year"

I've mentioned before that 9th Wonder's newest album The Wonder Years will be dropping on September 27th. What I didn't know was that there is a biographical documentary of 9th Wonder that is being screened around the world at select locations. Watch the video above to learn more about the film and watch select footage from the film. I'm convinced that I want to check it out, and I would love to bring a screening to my hometown of Charlotte, NC.

New Music Video: Theophilus London - "I Stand Alone"

Theophilus London is a giant, pimping, fashion cowboy in this music video for "I Stand Alone." I really Theophilus London and I've been vibing to his music since hearing "Flying Overseas" with Solange.  I understand his music's not for everybody, but let it be known that this Brooklyn kid can spit.

"I Stand Alone" is the second single from Theophilus's Timez Are Weird These Days, which is on sale at iTunes now.

New Music: Jadakiss "Grind"

I've been a fan of Jadakiss since I was Diddy boppin' as a child listening to the Lox, and I'm always excited to see new music from him.  When I saw that Bink! produced this, I got even more crunk.  No word if "Grind" is a single from a new album or a mixtape, but I'm glad to have this in my life.

New Music Video: Stalley - The Sound of Silence + Interview

New music video from Ohio's MMG Representer, Stalley.  Listen carefully and learn something--It is Intelligent Trunk Music after all.  "Sound of Silence" is part of Stalley's hit mixtape, Lincoln Way Nights, which has been remastered and will be released physically and digitally on November 1st.

Hit the jump to hear more about what Stalley's been up to from the man himself.

Young Jeezy - "Trump" f/ Birdman

Quite a year for The Donald in Hip Hop.  First Mac Miller drops "Donald Trump," and now Young Jeezy's "the richest n***a in his hood"-- Donald Trump. Sigh. Also, why is Birdman is on this song? Nevertheless, check it out and let me know what you think.

Young Jeezy: Trump f/ Birdman

"Trump" is a track on the brand new Jeezy mixtape, The Real Is Back 2, which you can download or stream after the jump. Also after the jump is Young Jeezy's first live performance of "Trump."

J. Cole's "Can't Get Enough" f/ Trey Songz is on iTunes Now!

J. Cole's Cole World: The Sideline Story is due for September 27, a day that is sure to go down in Hip Hop history.  "Can't Get Enough" featuring Trey Songz is, in my opinion, what the first single should have been.  Unfortunately, it leaked before it's official release.

Purchase "Can't Get Enough" here, and listen for it on Gangstas Use Emoticons Radio, Vol. 6.

Lupe Fiasco Says He's The Best in The Game

Like a present, this jewel of a Facebook status was on my mini-feed.  These are actually lyrics to a freestyle that he came up with recently at his show at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

If he gives us more of Food & Liquor, more of The Cool and less foolish Twitter rants, I think Lupe can prove himself to be the best again.  Read below and let me know if you agree with Lupe's bold statement!

The Cool Kids ft. Maxine Ashley - Summer Jam [Music Video]

I remember dancing to The Cool Kids' in my dorm my freshman year of college and getting caught by my roommate. 4 years later, I'm still loving their music, and "Summer Jam" is no exception.

Check out the funny video for "Summer Jam" featuring Maxine Ashley below and be sure to get their album When Fish Ride Bicycles, which is on iTunes now.

Yelawolf Celebrates Radioactive's Completion!

Yelawolf has been busy recording his debut album Radioactive this year and I can't wait to hear what the Bama has been cooking up.  I'm glad to hear that he doesn't have like a million Eminem features since signing to Shady Records, and after blasting Trunk Muzik & Trunk Muzik 0-60 faithfully, I have a feeling I won't be disappointed.

Props to Maurice Garland

Kendrick Lamar Performs A.D.H.D.

I could barely concentrate on posting this. I've been rapping along and vibing out like I was actually at the concert. "A.D.H.D." is one of my favorite tracks on Section 80, and it's not because I have it...well...

What's your favorite track on Section.80?
