[Video] Bruno Mars, Sting, Rihanna, Ziggy & Damien Marley Pay Tribute To Bob Marley At The 2013 Grammy Awards

Bruno Mars and his band sure know how to put on a show. Thankfully, his stage presence and voice were put to great use at the Grammys last night as he paid tribute to musical icon Bob Marley along with Sting, Ziggy Marley, Rihanna and Damien Marley. This was definitely my favorite performance of the night, and it looks like the crowd enjoyed it more than anything. Rest in paradise, Mr. Marley!

Say what you want, but Bruno Mars KILLED his performance at the Grammys tonight.  The only new artist I've seen that can get me excited is Janelle Monae, and after watching him hit the James Brown, they're clearly cut from the same cloth. Bruno Mars has proven to be one of the most talented breakthrough artists music's seen in a very long time.  What people sometimes forget about Bruno is that he's had a lot of growing up to do in the music industry.  During his interview with CNN's Piers Morgan, which aired on Friday, he spoke on his substance abuse, fighting to record music he loved, his feelings towards Amy Winehouse's passing, and   rejection from Motown Records.

The MTV Video Music Awards are Tonight!!

The 2011 Video Music Awards Air on MTV tonight at 9/8 central, and Gangstas Use Emoticons will be live tweeting the entire show, starting with the 8/7 preshow.  I, DJ Hourglass, promise to keep you up to date with all of the great moments and foolishness that is sure to occur.  It's only 2:30 and Lil Mama's already starting.  If I see her on stage like last year, I will be on the floor.
