Heath McNease - Thrift Store Jesus [Album Stream]

Heath McNease first caught my attention with his and Playdough's Wed, White & Wu project, and the Atlanta emcee has opened my ears once again with his new album Thrift Store Jesus. The flow, the lyrics and the instrumentation are better than those of most projects I've heard lately, and the consistency is most likely due to Heath's involvement into every aspect of Thrift Store Jesus's creation. He co-produced the majority of the tracks and also played the acoustic guitar, ukelele, piano, and xylophone on certain selections. No wonder this debuted on Bandcamp at #1 and stayed their for 6 days!

Playdough x Heath McNease - Wed White And Wu [New Mixtape]

18 years ago, the Wu Tang Clan completely changed the course of Hip Hop with their debut Enter The Wu Tang (36 Chambers).  As a salute to the legendary collective, ATL representer Heath McNease joined forces with Dallas emcee Playdough to create the DOPE project Wed White And Wu

On Wed White and Wu, which debuted at #1 overall on Bandcamp, the two add a more humorous twist to some of 36 Chambers' biggest hits without making any lyrical compromises.  Stream the full mixtape below, and be sure to visit their Bandcamp page to purchase the album and to take a look at their Wed White and Wu merchandise!

If you enjoyed Wed White and Wu, hit the jump to listen to Heath McNease's latest mixtape Straight Outta Console: The Nintendo Thumb Mixtape.  It's a must download for gamers everywhere!
