I was first introduced to Hi Stakez at the A3C Festival when he gave an impressive freestyle during Enter The Cypher.  What is more impressive is his work ethic-- this junior at The University of Houston still finds time to write music, record, travel, and promote just like any pro in the game.

In early 2012, Hi Stakez will be releasing his upcoming EP, Audiophile, which features the standout  track "Make It Right." Check out the Anita Baker sampled track, which HiStakez produced himself, below!

XV's been on a roll this week.  "Batteries" features Houston rapper Trae Tha Truth whose voice is perfect for the dark beat provided by The Awesome Sound.  This is probably my favorite of the 3 tracks he's dropped this week.

New Music Video: Beyoncé: 1+1

This is one of my favorite tracks on 4 mainly due to the raw emotion that she pours into the song.  I do cringe when I hear her sing "algeba" instead of "algebra," but I'll give her a pass because the song is so beautiful.  Check out the video for "1+1" below, which is rumored to be one of many sets of visuals from the 4 album to come.
