[New Album] Terrace Martin - '3ChordFold'

Terrace Martin is one of the rare musicians who possesses the ultimate respect of the leaders in a variety of circles, from the jazz world to the Hip Hop community. Terrace Martin combines these worlds seamlessly with his new self-produced album 3ChordFold as he calls upon Kendrick Lamar, Robert Glasper, Ab-Soul, Musiq Soulchild, James Fauntleroy, Wiz Khalifa, Lalah Hathaway, Snoop Dogg and more to make the project complete.

Purchase the album on iTunes HERE, but get a sample of 3ChordFold below by checking out "Triangleship" featuring Kendrick and "No Wrong No Right" featuring James Fauntleroy and Robert Glasper.

Planet VI (Formerly Rock City) - American Dream [New Mixtape]

Brothers Timothy and Teron Thomas who are the minds behind hits like Rihanna's "Man Down," Mario's "Music For Love," and The Pussycat Dolls' "When I Grow Up," are renewing their position as artists under the new moniker Planet VI.  Formerly known as Rock City, the duo finally cut ties with Akon's Konvict Records/Interscope after years of frustrations with the label.

To give Planet VI a proper introduction, the Virgin Islands representers just dropped the brand new mixtape The American Dream that includes production from Boi-1da and Tha Bizness, and features artists including Bei Maejor, 2 Chainz, Dom Kennedy, Chase N. Ca$he, and more.  Stream/download the mixtape below, and get used to hearing Planet VI more often because they're not going anywhere!

New Music Video: Musiq Soulchild - Yes

Musiq Soulchild always knows how to make a video that makes my sensitive a*s cry.  In the music video to "Yes," Musiq stands by his girlfriend (portrayed by Jasmine Burke) after learning that she has breast cancer.  Watch further as Musiq, the real life ambassador for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Circle of Promise, takes things a step further and walks down the aisle. Gotta love music with a message.

Musiq Soulchild's sixth album, MUSIQINTHEMAGIQ, is in stores NOW.
