Friday night, Jhené Aiko performed at the 2012 GearFest Fashion Show in Los Angeles, which was hosted by Teyana Taylor and Taj Stansberry. Watch below as she talks to my TWV fam Brittany "Bella" Graham and reveals that her release goal for her Def Jam debut album is sometime during the summer. She also explains the reason behind her intense spirituality and her hopes for her musical legacy.

Los could have easily been in Trayvon Martin's place right now, and he expresses that sentiment on the tribute track "Wit My Hoodie On." I still find it impossible that George Zimmerman is still a free man after killing Trayvon for nothing but seeing his skin and his clothing.

Kendrick Lamar ft. Dr. Dre - The Recipe [Prod. by Scoop DeVille]

From the second I found out Kendrick Lamar's new single was coming out today, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I've said it before and I'll say it again that he's my favorite rapper out, period. With backing from Dr. Dre and TDE's recent deal with Aftermath, I hope more of the world will hear how prolific he is so early in his career.

Feast your ears on the first single from his major label debut album (which may be titled Good Kid In A Mad City), "The Recipe," which features a verse from Dre and production from veteran West Coast producer Scoop DeVille. The single, which was originally titled "Women, Weed & Weather," will be on iTunes later on today!

Your monday might be rough, but with a new Childish Gambino track floating around, today's not so bad. In usual fashion, "D Money" kills the punchlines and some of the references allude that the track was recorded yesterday. He definitely should have laid off with the Trayvon line though. Terrible call.

Joe Budden Gets Arrested At NYC Show [VIDEO]

In episode 3 of the Slaughterhouse Tour vlog, the group releases footage of Joe Budden's March 29th arrest at NYC's Best Buy Theater. The Jersey bred rapper was arrested for an unpaid parking ticket from 2007 and was released later on the next day.
