Luke James - "I Want You" (Remix)

As part of Danja's Throwback Track Thursday series (don't check your calendar), the accomplished producer presents the remix to his NARS artist Luke James' breakthrough single "I Want You."

The New Orleans bred singer has a big year ahead of him, with his latest singles "I.O.U." and "Make Love To Me" making alot of waves. Get ready for Luke James to debut the remix of "I.O.U." featuring Wale very soon, but for now enjoy the "Fu-Gee-La" sampled banger.

[FreEP] TiRon & Ayomari - 'The Wonderful Prelude pt. 1'

The fact that TiRon and Ayomari are gearing up to release their sophomore album The Great New Wonderful is enough good news for me, but to give us a sample of what to expect on the full length project, they've released with the four track EP The Wonderful Prelude pt. 1.

Stream and download Prelude for free below, and hit the jump to see if TiRon & Ayomari's tour with Blu will be hitting your city!

Laelo ft. Gods'illa - "Back At It (For The People)"

Laelo took off nearly a year without releasing new music in High Definition, but the DMV emcee is refreshed and ready to use his voice for spreading positive energy back to the people.  Produced by the HDSociety's own Str8 Beatz, "Back At It" showcases Laelo and hip hop trio Gods'illa striving to put some substance back into the music. Nothing better than balance, folks!

[Music Video] Chris Brown - "Fine China" + Hot 97 Interview With Angie Martinez [Video]

Taking a page from his hero Michael Jackson's book, Chris Brown debuts his new single "Fine China" with a short film kit with a starcrossed lovers backdrop and martial arts inspired dance scenes. His forthcoming album X is set to hit stores this summer, and the singer hopes to have released 10 visuals for the project come its release.

Chris Brown recently had some words for Drake, on the remix to "R.I.P.," but hit the jump to see his recent interview with Angie Martinez to see if he and Rihanna actually discuss the beef for which she seems to be the underlying trigger.

Young Jeezy - "R.I.P." (Remix) ft. YG, Kendrick Lamar & Chris Brown

It's safe to say that Young Jeezy's "R.I.P." brings life to the club, and it looks like the single isn't going anywhere as he recruited West Coast heavyweights Kendrick Lamar and YG to appear alongside him on the remix.

I'm not shocked that K. Dot spits the best verse on the remix, but I am surprised that I'm giving #2 to Chris Brown, who comes for Drake on his sixteen saying: "And if you started from the bottom gon' and come out the closet." Let the subliminal shots continue!

Beyoncé - "I Been On" (Remix) ft. Bun B, Slim Thug, Z-Ro, Scarface, Willie D & Lil Keke

When Beyoncé dropped the dual single "Bow Down/I Been On," the leading track caused so much uproar that I feel the homage she paid to Houston on "I Been On" almost went overlooked.

Thankfully, Houston's all-stars Bun BLil Keke, Wille D, Slim ThugScarface and Z-Ro reprised the screwed up production to present the remix, which I'm sure will get a grip of spins tonight in the South. Listen to the official Houston remix of "I Been On" below, and hit the comments with your thoughts!

I wish Trae had a verse on this though!

[New Mixtape] STS - 'Gold Rush III'

After showcasing life on his European tour with the visuals to his latest Gold Rush flips, STS presents the third volume of the mixtape series the ATL emcee has now perfected.

With the help of DJ Bear One, Slim takes on tracks from Purity Ring, Kavinsky, Walk The Duck and Gary Clark Jr, and more as he proves his lyrics can be felt over any style of music. Who needs boundaries? Fuck 'em!

Stalley ft. Scarface - "Swangin"

After paying dues with his first MMG mixtape Savage Journey To The American DreamStalley is gearing up for the release of his major label debut with the lead single "Swangin'."

The Block Beattaz production has a classic Houston sound, and it was only right that legend Scarface lend a verse to the track made specifically for the whip.

Ryshon Jones - "Shadow Boxing Self Destruction" ft. L.atasha A.lcindor & Nia Keturah

After letting his project In Theory marinate since its January release without dropping any other audio leaks or visuals, Ryshon Jones is now ready to share this gem that didn't make the album.

Featuring L.atasha A.lcindor and Nia Keturah, the Hiri Skywalker produced "Shadow Boxing Self Destruction" finds Ryshon wondering this: "Am I crazy or do I drive myself crazy?"

Next week, Ryshon is set to drop the visual to "God's Broken Smile." I'll keep you posted on the G.U.E. favorite.

John Legend ft. Rick Ross - "Who Do We Think We Are"

John Legend shares his second single in one week as he taps "Rich Forever" collaborator Rick Ross for the soulful "Who Do We Think We Are." If this and "The Beginning" are any indication, his album  Love In The Future will be what R&B needs in 2013.

Roman GianArthur - "I-69"

I've been looking for a studio version of "I-69" since I saw Roman GianArthur perform it at Poor Little Rich Girl's Supreme Music Sessions, and although I'm a month late, here it is!

Roman, just one of the Wondaland Arts Society's many talents, is the man behind Janelle Monae's Archandroid overtures and the album closer "BabopbyeYa." Now, Roman has placed his focus on his own project which features the infectious "I-69," a track that has been spreading like wildfire due to the reception of his opening performances for Solange and Bilal's latest shows in Atlanta.

Hit play to be formally introduced to the soulful realm of Roman GianArthur, and be sure to buy "I-69" on iTunes if you like what you hear!

[New Mixtape] Rickie Jacobs - "Songs For High School Kids"

It seems I've had to use my late pass a few times today, but no amount of shame would prevent me from sharing Rickie Jacobs latest project, Songs For High School Kids.

The Baltimore emcee who strives to "change the world with his vocal chords," linked up with some dope up and coming producers like King Tut, Smokey Suave, Artic and CXC to provide music for not only kids getting ready for prom, but us measly student loan paying folk as well.

Playboy Tre, Marian Mereba & Spree Wilson - "Good Life" (Prod. Kato of SMKA)

SMKA's mega experimental collaboration project The Hang Out has already provided us with some great music, but it seems that with each leak the offerings get better and better.

On "Good Life," Atlanta's own Playboy Tre and Spree Wilson take on a Kato production alongside vocalist Marian Mereba as they provide commentary for those trying to elevate when it seems all life does is try to hold you down.

Look for part 1 of The Hang Out to drop next week on March 26th, and be sure to hit up The Star Bar if you're in the A on Saturday, March 23rd for the official The Hang Out Release Party!

Previously: Jackie Chain, Scotty & RaRa - "Pimpin Mane" (Prod. by Kato of SMKA)

[Music Video] Tez McClain - "Flick'n"

Atlanta rapper and G.U.E. favorite Tez McClain is back and it looks like the stage is set for him to be the next to blow from the city as his single "Flick'n" is building momentum.

Check out the official video for the track below, and hit the jump to stream and download his latest EP Scoundrel, which features a little something for everybody--from the introspective intro to the club ready "Prolly Won't."

Rihanna - "Pour It Up" (Remix) ft. Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J & T.I.

Only Rihanna could get Young Jeezy and Rick Ross to have adjacent verses on a track together.

Rihanna lets the two of them,  along with Juicy J and T.I. (who had the best verses to me) take on the her Mike Will produced club anthem "Pour It Up" as she took a back seat and just kept her hook on the track. Stream the remix below, and the comments to tell me who you think had the best verse!

Melo-X - "Handle It" (Prod. by M-Phazes)

What originally began as a remix of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Love," G.U.E. favorite MeLo-X opted to make "Handle It" into an original record for his upcoming GOD:Lo-fi project which drops on March 26th.

Tapping Australian producer M-Phazes, the Brooklyn musician focuses solely on the vocals as he raps to a woman with a way with her body.

John Legend - "The Beginning"

There's nothing like news that John Legend's dropped a new single to tell you that today's going to be a great day. In a radio interview I heard recently on Atlanta's V103, the hit singer and songwriter stated that he's got a fifth album in the works that he and Kanye have been crafting together, which will return to his Get Lifted roots.

To get you excited, stream his new single "The Beginning," and hit the comments to let me know if you're just as hype as me to hear John's forthcoming album.

Tank ft. Chris Brown - "Shots Fired"

Tank has been busy working on music with Ginuwine and Tyrese for their group TGT, but he's got some solo tracks in the vault as the LA Leakers premiered "Shots Fired."

Unlike what the title suggests, "Shots Fired" isn't a diss record. It's not even one of Tank's trademark smooth and seductive records like most of Tank's repertoire. However, this collaboration with Chris Brown shows Tank venturing out to a more urban radio ready/club side of music. Feeling it?
