Black Cobain - Cheers [New Mixtape]

Black Cobain's last mixtape Young, Gifted & Black definitely earned the respect of the Hip Hop community who viewed him first as the guy standing in Wale's shadow. Now I'm hoping Cheers will solidify the DMV emcee's position as an individual artist. With Hello Chi City and Beat Billionaire commanding the production, this is definitely a tape you don't want to sleep on.  Download after the jump.

Wale ft. French Montana, Diddy & Mase - Slight Work (Remix)

I saw tweets from MMG this morning that we would never be able to guess who was featured on Wale 's "Slight Work" remix, and they were definitely right. Diddy's former dancing partner in rhyme, Ma$e came out of retirement (IRS is on him!) came out and gave us a soft spoken verse after French Montana and Diddy dropped theirs. What's the future hold for Mase? Hmmmmm...

Update: Splash let loose the CDQ version of the track.

Clearly Wale wrote Diddy's verse; he could barely get the words out.

Jadakiss - Consignment [New Mixtape]

My mind's still blown about Jadakiss being able to grow hair on his head, but his mixtape Consignment is the real story here. Think of everybody in rap right now that's hot in Hip Hop and there's a good chance they're on this tape. Jadakiss alone should be enough for you to check this one out.

Jadakiss ft. Wale, Styles P & French Montana - Paper Tags (Prod. by Jahlil Beats)

Hold up. Jadakiss with hair? Now in all my 22 years of life, I've never seen this man with any sort of anything sprouting off the top of his head. While I stare at wonder at the mixtape cover to his April 27th release Consignment, go ahead and check out "Paper Tags" which features verses from Wale and Styles P, and French Montana on hook duty.

Sabi ft. Wale - Where They Do That At? [Music Video]

Wale returns the favor as he appears in Sabi's music video to her new single "Where They Do That At?" I loved "Wild Heart," but I definitely think this one has more potential to give her that big hit. Watch the L.A. shot music video below, and hit the jump to watch the behind the scenes footage of the Tim Cruz directed visuals!

Monica ft. Wale - Take A Chance

Monica's album New Life really snuck up on me because I had no idea it was hitting stores in less than a week on April 10th. Rico Love wrote the Wale featured standout "Take A Chance" and I think it balances out the "He Ain't S**t" vibe that's present on "It All Belongs To Me." Preorder New Life HERE and hit the jump to view the album's full track list!

Wale ft. Lloyd & Sabi - Sabotage [Music Video]

Wale's new video for "Sabotage" featuring Lloyd and Sabi is set to premiere on 106 & Park in a matter of minutes, but of course the net's got it first.

Wale and Lloyd go back to their high school days where Folarin falls for Sabi all the while a jealous girl tries to break them apart. Aww, this is precious.

Wale ft. Rick Ross & Fabolous - Albert Pujols Lyrics

(1/31/12:)

If Albert Pujols had "Have a song named after me" on his bucket list, he can cross it off now.  As one of STL's former residents this new song from Wale had me hype as soon as it came on.  Not sure which project this new collab with Rick Ross and Fabolous will land on, but enjoy regardless!

Wale - Ca$hin' Out (Freestyle)

Ca$h Out's new single "Ca$hin' Out" has been dominating the South and it's definitely become one of my guilty pleasures. Wale recognized that the Atlanta rapper has some heat on his hands and hopped on the track for a pretty nice freestyle. Check the freestyle below, and hit the jump for the original!
