[Music Video] Bridget Kelly ft. Kendrick Lamar - "Street Dreamin"

Almost more exciting than my two favorite artists Bridget Kelly and Kendrick Lamar crafting a track together is the fact that Roc Nation is actually giving the amazing vocalist a real push leading up to her debut album. "Street Dreamin" has been doing well on Atlanta radio, and now the Clifton Bell directed visual has premiered on VEVO. Watch the video to "Street Dreamin" below, which was shot in my home state of NC. Greensboro, I see ya!

Shout out the Bruhz as well!

Bridget Kelly ft. Kendrick Lamar - "Street Dreamin"

If Funk Flex can bring together my two favorite artists, he's forever good in my book.

Added to Flex's impressive lineup so far for his upcoming mixtape Who You Mad At? Me Or Myself?, "Street Dreamin" features Bridget Kelly over a Shea Taylor production sampling the classic 2Pac "Got My Mind Made Up." To make things even better, MTV's Hottest MC Kendrick Lamar adds an always solid verse at the start of the track.

"Street Dreamin" first caught my attention at Bridget Kelly's meet in greet at Tags II in Atlanta. Trust me, there's more heat to come.

Update: CDQ added. Buy it on iTunes!

Bridget Kelly ft. Meek Mill - "In The Morning" (Remix)

I had the pleasure of meeting Roc Nation talent Bridget Kelly last week, and was pleased to hear that "In The Morning" would be one of the few tracks from her Every Girl EP to make it on to her debut album. The Ne-Yo penned track is something all of us drunk dialers can relate to, and to take the single to the next level, Bridget recruited Roc companion Meek Mill for the remix.

Stream the remix to "In The Morning" below, and make sure you request her single "Special Delivery" at your local radio stations. Her new album is CRAZY.

Bridget Kelly - "Special Delivery" [Music Video]

I may not be a woman scorned, but there's plenty to appreciate about Bridget Kelly's "Special Delivery." The songstress, who's been signed to Roc Nation since 2008, is finally getting the recognition I feel she's deserved for years as she took to BET to present the visuals to the powerful ballad.

Watch the video below and be sure to download her latest project Every Girl if you're not familiar.

Bridget Kelly - Special Delivery

Bridget Kelly may have a hit on her hands ladies and gentleman. The Roc Nation beauty proved that she has incredible vocal ability and ferocity to match on her Every Girl EP, and now she's making an even bigger step with her latest official single "Special Delivery." Nothing nice about this package...(TWSS)

Bridget Kelly Explains Frank Ocean "Thinking About You" Origins [VIDEO]

Bridget Kelly is one of my favorite new artists, and her Every Girl EP still gets consistent play on my iTunes thanks to tracks like "Thinking About You" and "In The Morning." In a recent interview with Mina SayWhat, BK explains the situation behind the Frank Ocean penned track and how Frank's demo  kind of overshadowed hers.

Behind The Scenes of Bridget Kelly's "Every Girl" EP

Two weeks before Every Girl dropped, Bridget Kelly had a photoshoot for the artwork which included her posing while in the dryer of all things.  Check it out as she talks about the purpose of the EP while tumbling in the delicate cycle!

Gangstas Use Emoticons Radio, Vol. 13: R&B Leaders of the New School

I can't believe there are 13 of these now!
Hip Hop has changed dramatically over the years--almost everything is digital now and rappers can make music to anything because creativity seems endless. I welcome these changes with open arms and although there are a lot of sh*tty artists clogging the Internet, there are also incredible talents that can reach a large audience easier than ever before.

What few seem to notice is that the same movement is happening with R&B.  There are tons of amazing singers and songwriters that are participating in the progressive evolution of this genre that seems to be expanding just as quickly as rap.  I'd like to consider the standouts in R&B our "Leaders of the New School," although many who are just starting to gain major attention have been around in the industry for quite some time.

Check out a Gangstas Use Emoticons Radio, Vol. 13, a showcase of these R&B Leaders of the New School, which includes music from Miguel, Jhené Aiko, Teedra Moses, Frank Ocean, BJ The Chicago Kid, The Weeknd, and more!

Bridget Kelly - Every Girl EP

Bridget Kelly has been buzzing for quite some time now since being signed to Roc Nation and singing on tour with Jay-Z.  After dropping the Frank Ocean penned track "Thinking About Forever" and most recently, "Seek and Destroy," it's the perfect time to put out her first full project, Every Girl.

Consider the Every Girl EP a introduction a sneak peek to her debut album, which will probably drop early next year!

New Music: Bridget Kelly - Seek and Destroy

Roc Nation's next songstress to blow, Bridget Kelly, has slowly become one of my favorite new singers.  She's edgy, beautiful, AND she can probably outsing most female R&B artists out here now.  Listen and download "Seek and Destroy" below, a powerful, rock influenced track written by The-Dream, in which Bridget Kelly bluntly tells her man that he better not break her heart.

Her upcoming project, Every Girl EP, drops this Wednesday (10/19)!

Bridget Kelly Sings Acoustic Version of Thinking About Forever

I know it seems like the Frank ocean demo version is becoming the most popular version, but Bridget Kelly definitely has the best version.  As proof, check out this live acoustic version of the first single from Roc Nation's first lady.

New Music: Bridget Kelly: Thinkin' Bout You

Sooooo last week, I posted new music from Frank Ocean called "Thinkin' Bout You." Turns out that it was a reference track for Roc Nation's first lady, Bridget Kelly. For me, she's best known for singing "In Newwwwwwww Yooooooooooork" as the sub for Alicia Keys.  Her voice definitely does the Ocean-penned track justice.

Listen/download below:

Alright, I'm about to drive 10 hours to Atlanta so I'll catch y'all on the flipside. Stay G. Use emoticons.
