Drake & Kendrick Lamar Bring The Club Paradise Tour To New Orleans [VIDEO]

Drake, Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky stopped through N'awlins yesterday as part of their Club Paradise Tour and BlowHipHopTV was able to capture some dope footage of Kendrick and Drake's set.  Watch below as K Dot performs "HiiiPower" live, and hit the jump to see Drake's performance of "Crew Love."

Waka Flocka Flame ft. Drake - Round Of Applause [Music Video]

"Round of Applause" to Fozzie Bear for trying to turn the club anthem into a powerful narrative chronicling how greed can ruin a once flourishing relationship. Maybe the visuals to the next single will actually help me rap my head around the point of this one because I'm just not getting it Waka.

MTV Crowns Rick Ross As The #1 Hottest MC [VIDEO]

How did we even get here? After a week of controversial, and in my opinion, terrible selections, Rick Ross was crowned MTV's #1 Hottest MC in the game.  Last night on an MTV2 televised special, they announced the top 5, which included Drake at #2, Kanye West at #3, Nicki Minaj at #4 and Lil Wayne at #5.

I definitely respect Rick Ross and I think he deserves a top spot on the list, but I think that Kanye West should have been number 1. He brought back the weekly installment back to Hip Hop with Good Fridays, released an amazing album in My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and changed the game with Jay-Z on Watch The Throne.

Watch the "Brain Trust" debate between Drake and Rozay for the top spot, and hit the jump to view MTV's full list and deliberation for #3-5.

Common Says Beef With Drake Is Over [VIDEO]

Touré hit the Grammy red carpet to interview celebrities for the Fuse TV network, and he couldn't help but ask about Common's beef with Drake when he ran into The Dreamer/The Believer.  Watch below as Common considers the feud "over," and hit up the comments with your thoughts. I'm not so sure Drake feels the same way.

Drake Names His Picks For The Hottest MCs Of The Year [VIDEO]

I'm not sure if the list was completely fabricated or if MTV made a mistake, but the list that leaked of MTV's 2011 Hottest MC's doesn't seem to be correct. Thank God.

The official announcements dont begin online until Monday the 13th, but contenders on the list, like Drake, are quick to give their opinions. Watch below as Drizzy lays down his pics for Hottest MC and hit up the comments with your picks!

Young Jeezy - I Do (Remix) ft. Drake, Jay-Z & Andre 3000

Young Jeezy has done his fair share of hopping on other rappers' tracks the past few months, and now Drake has returned the favor by adding a verse to Jeezy's all-star hit "I Do." Everything else is the same. No complaints about that!

Gangstas Use Emoticons Radio, Vol. 16: Meet Glass!

A LOT has changed since I dropped Gangstas Use Emoticons Radio, Vol. 15 in January.  The site has grown tremendously and the most noticeable changes are the brand new logo, layout and mascot.  You've probably already noticed him/her already, but consider GUE Radio, Vol. 16 an introduction to Glass, The Gangsta Emoticon.

Gangstas Use Emoticons Radio, Vol. 16 features much of the new music posted on the site within the past month, and like I always say, this one is my best mix yet.  With a diverse selection of artists ranging from Big K.R.I.T. to Azealia Banks and Meek Mill to M.I.A., I think you'll really enjoy this one.

Stream or download the mix below, and hit the jump for a detailed tracklisting! Hit up the comments with your thoughts and requests for the next mix!

1982 (Statik Selektah & Termanology) - Rap & Bi**hes

Here's the second leak from Statik Selekt and Termanology's upcoming project 2012.  They switch it up a bit and sample Drake's "Rap & bitches" line from "Underground Kings" to show off the fact that 1982 can do mainstream just as well as the underground.

Lil Kim Disses Drake After Dancing To "The Motto" [VIDEO]

Sigh...

I grew up on Lil Kim and I love a lot of her music.  But whyyyyyyy, Lawd whyyyy, can't she just focus on what made her famous instead of trying to get a few minutes of newfound fame by continuing to harass Young Money.  Clearly, they don't care.

During a recent show in Tampa, Kim performed her hits "Lighters Up" and "Magic Stick," but took a break to twerk to Drake's "The Motto," right before calling him a "bitch a** ni**a." So you pop it to his verse and then diss? Oh, okay.

I give this a big o_O.  Send me your thoughts by hitting me up on Facebook and Twitter!

Mary J. Blige - Mr. Wrong feat. Drake [Music Video]

When Mary J. Blige's original video tor her Drake featured "Mr. Wrong" single dropped, we found MJB handling the visuals solo with Drizzy nowhere to be found.  To give the track a bigger push on television, a scene with Drake rapping his intro verse has been added on to the video. Nothing major!

Birdman Addresses Drake & Common Beef [VIDEO]

While Birdman was in L.A., he stopped through Big Boy's  Power 106 radio show and spoke on the ongoing lyrical feud between Common and Drake.  Watch below to see if Baby plans to take any action, or if he's going to be Ray Charles to all the beef.

Sounds like a good plan.

Got Beef? The Weeknd Has Drake's Back

Uh oh! Looks like The Weeknd has inserted himself into his first rap beef! The Toronto crooner took to Twitter yesterday after Common released his "Stay Schemin'" remix dissing Drake with no sort of remorse saying:
I personally think it was a great diss track (although I'm not too sure why Common's putting so much energy into this anyway), but I understand that the Weeknd's just taking up for his homie.

In other news, The Weeknd has been announced as part of the lineup for this year's Coachella music festival.  Check out the entire schedule HERE!

Got Beef? Common - Stay Schemin' (Drake Diss)

What a great way to start off a morning.

Common admitted that his The Dreamer/The Believer track "Sweet" was aimed at Drake when he took to Power 105's Breakfast Club show a few weeks ago.  I was curious to see if Drake would directly respond, but he stayed strictly subliminal when he fired back on the Rich Forever single "Stay Schemin."

With lines like "Back when if a nigga reached it was for the weapon/Nowadays niggas reach just to sell they record..." it was clear who Drake was talking about. His verse was one of the best on Ross's entire mixtape and was the complete opposite of sweet this time.

"Stay Schemin" has only been out for three days and Common's already got a response to Drake's verse.  To make it even more disrespectful, his response is on the SAME SONG, AND he leaves Drake's verse on his remix of the Rick Ross track!!

Listen to Common's "Stay Schemin'" diss below, and weigh in using the comments below! I want to talk about this!

Rick Ross - Stay Schemin' feat. Drake & French Montana [Music Video]

Soooo Rick Ross dropped a mixtape trailer, mixtape, and music video in one day and I'm still not tired of him.  Check out the music video for Rich Forever outro track "Stay Schemin" below, which features his Y.O.L.O. partner Drake and Coke Boy/Bad Boy French Montana.

Rick Ross - Rich Forever [New Mixtape]

When Rick Ross revealed the track listing to this mixtape, he surprised everyone.  Most people, myself included, thought the mixtape would just be Rick Ross rhyming over hit songs like the remixes he'd been releasing for the past few weeks.  WRONG.

The line up on Rich Forever is RIDICULOUS. All brand new tracks featuring everyone from John Legend and Nas to French Montana and Styles P. The wait is finally over, so look below to stream/download Rozay's prelude to God Forgives, I Don't!

Drake Performs "Look What You've Done" Live In Las Vegas [VIDEO]

Just a day after taking over Times Square for New Year's Eve, Drizzy traveled to Sin City to perform for a huge crowd at Vegas' Hard Rock cafe.  Watch him perform the Chase N. Ca$he-produced Take Care standout "Look What You've Done," and let me know what you think of the performance!

Am I the only one who thinks his singing sounds terrible? I'm done giving rappers vocal passes.
