Angel Haze - "On The Edge" + Azealia Banks - "No Problems" (Diss Records)

Yesterday as I was minding my business sipping my morning tea, I noticed that Azealia Banks and Angel Haze were having quite the Twitter exchange. The flame that started it all?

Subliminal diss to Angel Haze, a fellow upcoming female emcee who relocated to NYC from Detroit? Perhaps; and she took it as such. A few "you ain't got no edges" jokes and claims of sexual rejection later, Angel drops "On The Edge," a diss track she claims she wrote in 20 minutes after the back and forth.

[Music Video] Rapsody ft. Raheem DeVaughn - "Non Fiction"

Though "Nonfiction" is a dope collab between RapsodyRaheem DeVaughn and Ab-Soul, the Jamla queen handles the video solo. Watch below as she laces truth through an always soulful 9th Wonder beat.

Make sure you check out The Idea Of Beautiful now if you haven't heard it already!

Black Cobain isn't playing with us in 2013 and "Liberation" is proof. Stream the Bentley Haze produced track below to hear what I mean.

[Music Video] Kendrick Lamar - Backseat Freestyle

Kendrick Lamar's good kid m.A.A.d city is already gold, and just 420 K from platinum. While his singles "Swimming Pools" and "Poetic Justice" are on the radio about every 20 minutes (ecstatic about this!), he keeps the momentum going by dropping the visuals to the Hit-Boy produced "Backseat Freestyle."

Meet the family and the notorious Sherane (well an actress playing her) below, and be sure to hit the jump for Life + Times' latest Decoded episode where Kendrick explains the story behind my favorite track on the album "Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst."

[Music Video] Sean Falyon - "Humble"

Thanks to the new surge of originality and artists in the city, #NewATLANTA is home to a music scene that I'm proud to be a part of.  Sean Falyon, an emcee who is a huge piece to the New Atlanta puzzle, is many things--bearded and omnipresent to name a few. But humble? Ehh, sometimes that s*it is overrated.

Watch below as Sean gives us an up close and personal look at New Atlanta as he performs SFBE III standout "Humble."

Mike WiLL Made It - "Est. In 1989 (Part 2.5)" [New Mixtape]

Mike WiLL Made It has been responsible for many a calorie burned in 2012 thanks to his hits like "Bandz A Make Her Dance" and Rihanna's "Pour It Up." Now he's letting a few more exclusives free on his Gangsta Grillz tape Est in 1989 2.5, which includes new ones from Kelly Rowland, 2 Chainz, Trinidad Jame$, and more.

Blu - "Soul Provider" (Nubbz Remix)

The latest on Nubbz's list of tracks to revive is Blu's "Soul Provider," originally produced by Exile for his 2006 project Lifted. Listen below as Nubbz takes his talents to the West Coast, and be sure to check out more of the Dutch beatsmith's catalogue HERE.

Jhené Aiko ft. James Fauntleroy - "Wrap Me Up" (Prod. by Tae Beast)

There are few Christmas records that are smooth enough to play all year round, and Jhené Aiko and James Fauntleroy's duet "Wrap Me Up" may be one of them. Spend this Christmas Eve with someone special and curl up to this Artium yuletide carol.

Wale - Folarin [New Mixtape]

Has Wale ever disappointed with his mixtapes? An album, maybe, but a new free project from Mr. Folarin is  quite the virtual stocking stuffer. Stream and download Folarin below, which features a few of my favorites on the mic and behind the boards-- Jhene Aiko, Digi+Phonics, Tiara Thomas, Nottz, 2 Chainz, Chrisette Michele and even Ric Flair and Jerome's lovechild Trinidad James.

Elijah Blake - Bijoux 22 [FreEP]

If you're not familiar with Elijah Blake as the songwriter behind Keyshia Cole's "Enough Of No Love," Usher's "Climax," and more, don't worry. You'll get familiar soon.

The Roc Nation signed songwriter also has a promising career as an artist, being featured on "Presidential," one of the standouts from Rick Ross' God Forgives, I Don't. Get more of a feel for who Mr. Blake is on a more personal level as he presents his new EP Bijoux 22, which further shows how deep of a roster No I.D.'s Artium/Def Jam collective is.
