Jay-Z and Rihanna were among the star studded lineup at this year's Radio 1 Hackney Weekend in  London. The singer, who is also set to take the stage today, served as hypewoman and semi-guest vocalist for Hov as he kicked off his show with their hit "Run This Town."

Hit the jump to watch more footage of his show, which includes a live performance of "Niggas In Paris" with Kanye West (and Moshpit Beyonce).

Jay-Z & Kanye West ft. Frank Ocean - No Church In The Wild [Music Video]

When Jay-Z & Kanye West release a video, especially after all this time, you know it's going to be a work of art. With the help of director Romain Gavras, they depict a full out riot in Prague to the tune of "No Church In The Wild." Neither they nor Frank Ocean appear in the visuals, but it's captivating nonetheless. Watch The Throne in stores now.

AMEX Sync Show: Jay-Z Live From SXSW [Full Concert]

Last night, YouTube live streamed Jay-Z's SXSW performance at Austin City Limits. I was in my room dancing and rapping along like I was there, and what I loved most about the show was his set list, which included some of my favorites like "Allure," "I Know," and "Heart Of The City."

What I found disappointing about the show was the complete lack of energy from the audience who only seemed to know the hook to his biggest hits. The Hip Hop shows haven't really gotten underway at SXSW so there was a noticeable absence of true fans. But if I was front row at a Jigga concert....

Anyways, Yardie recorded the live stream, which is key considering that YouTube doesn't allow you to watch it on your on terms. It just replays the stream over and over again. Parts 1 and 2 after the jump!

MTV reached into the vaults and found a vintage interview of Jay-Z speaking on his relationship with Biggie, and they prefaced the clip with some footage of Lil Kim's recent interview with Rap Fix Live. Watch below as a younger Jay speaks on the chemistry that he and B.I.G. had in the studio and how difficult it is to work without him.

MTV Crowns Rick Ross As The #1 Hottest MC [VIDEO]

How did we even get here? After a week of controversial, and in my opinion, terrible selections, Rick Ross was crowned MTV's #1 Hottest MC in the game.  Last night on an MTV2 televised special, they announced the top 5, which included Drake at #2, Kanye West at #3, Nicki Minaj at #4 and Lil Wayne at #5.

I definitely respect Rick Ross and I think he deserves a top spot on the list, but I think that Kanye West should have been number 1. He brought back the weekly installment back to Hip Hop with Good Fridays, released an amazing album in My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and changed the game with Jay-Z on Watch The Throne.

Watch the "Brain Trust" debate between Drake and Rozay for the top spot, and hit the jump to view MTV's full list and deliberation for #3-5.

Jay-Z & Kanye West - Niggas In Paris [Music Video]

If you were like me and missed the tour, Jay-Z & Kanye West bring you right on stage for one of their 348,398 performances of "Niggas In Paris." These effects have given me a temporary LSD high, so that's a warning to you folks about to go to class. Watch The Throne is in stores now.

Jay-Z Makes History At Carnegie Hall With Nas, Alicia Keys & The Roots [VIDEO]

Gabriela Herman
Last night, Jay-Z became the second Hip Hop act to perform at New York's Carnegie Hall, backed by The Roots, Bilal and a 30 member orchestra. Wyclef Jean, who was the first, took the stage with Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton and Whitney Houston in 2001. Among Hov's guests for his first of two benefit concerts were Nas and Alicia Keys, who performed hometown anthems "NY State of Mind" and "Empire State of Mind" with Jay.

Watch below as former rivals Nas and Jay-Z perform the Illmatic classic, "NY State Of Mind," and hit the jump to watch Mr. Carter's debut performance of "Glory," his song dedicated to his newborn daughter, Blue Ivy Carter!

Thank You YouTube For... Blue Ivy Lullabies

There comes a time when you have to look back on your life and just accept the fact that a newborn baby has accomplished more than you.  It's cool though, Blue Ivy. I'll let you have your shine. And your lullaby.

Thanks to the Hipster Orchestra, Beyonce and Jay-Z's progeny has the dopest lullaby in the world that consists of both Jay and B's biggest hits.  Watch the performance below, and hit me up on Facebook and Twitter with your thoughts!

As part of Tony William's Road To King Of The Fool series, the singer (who happens to be Kanye West's older cousin) recalls the moment when Kanye played "Big Brother" for Jay-Z in the studio for the first time.  Watch below as Jay gets a little emotional once hearing the track, and look carefully to see cameos from Dwele and a young Big Sean.

Jay-Z - Glory feat. Blue Ivy Carter [Prod. by Pharrell]

Yesterday, Beyonce gave birth to her and Jay-Z's first daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. After having the pregnancy announced during a VMA performance, trending on Twitter for over a day since being born, and NOW having a song with her vocals on it at one day old, this baby's got one hell of an entrance to the world.

Jay-Z wasted no time to dedicate a song to his baby girl Blue Ivy, and I think it's just precious.  When's the album coming out tho Blue?

Jay-Z Compares Running Roc Nation To Parenting, Speaks On J. Cole's Grammy Nomination [VIDEO]

Although Jay-Z has been busy touring with Kanye West as an artist, he never seems to forget that he's a business man at all times.  Roc Nation is a very young record label with a lot of promising artists, like J. Cole, Jay Elect, Bridget Kelly, and Willow Smith, but who may need a lot of shaping and time to become superstars.

Watch below as Jigga chops it up with MTV's Rob Markman and spoke on J. Cole's Best New Artist Grammy nomination, and hit the jump to hear him talk about raising his Roc Nation artists just like he plans to raise his family!
